By accessing or using ReceiptLyzer ("the Service"), operated by ReceiptLyzer ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
ReceiptLyzer is a cloud-based platform that uses artificial intelligence to scan, extract, categorize, and organize receipt and invoice data. The Service includes receipt scanning, expense categorization, financial reporting, export capabilities, mileage tracking, bank statement reconciliation, and related features. The specific features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and to keep your account information current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay applicable fees.
The Service is offered in Free, Starter, Growth, Pro, and Enterprise tiers. Each plan has specific features and monthly receipt limits as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify plan features and pricing with 30 days' notice.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. All fees are in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by law.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.

You retain all ownership rights to the data you upload to the Service, including receipt images, invoices, and extracted financial data. We do not claim ownership of your content.
By uploading data, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates when you delete your data or account.
We may create anonymized, aggregated datasets from user data for the purpose of providing benchmarking features (Insights). This anonymized data cannot be used to identify any individual user or their specific transactions. See our Privacy Policy for details.
You may export your data at any time in CSV, XLSX, JSON, QuickBooks IIF, or Xero CSV format, subject to your plan's features.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to extract data from uploaded documents. While we strive for high accuracy, AI extraction is not 100% accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted data before relying on it for tax filings, financial reporting, or legal purposes. We are not liable for errors in AI-extracted data.
ReceiptLyzer is a data management tool, not a tax preparation service, accounting firm, or financial advisor. Features such as tax deduction suggestions, write-off recommendations, audit risk scoring, and cash flow forecasting are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute tax, legal, or financial advice. Always consult a qualified tax professional or CPA for tax-related decisions.
The Service, including its design, code, features, AI models, and documentation, is owned by ReceiptLyzer and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECEIPTLYZER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReceiptLyzer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you should discontinue use of the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
